Product Design Strategy for Vehicle Diagnostic System

Context

Bosch GmbH aimed to redesign its vehicle diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair instruction system to better align with in-depth user research and evolving market needs. The goal was to develop a comprehensive product design strategy for a global launch, ensuring the system was optimized for three hardware platforms: Hand-held, Tablet and PC.

As Design Director, I led a global team of three user researchers and four UX designers on this 16-month project. The initiative involved extensive multi-country user and market research, with close collaboration with senior product stakeholders in Germany and Bosch sales teams across six key global markets.
