I volunteer with local organizations dedicated to introducing Design Thinking and the Design Process to middle and high school students. My vision is to equip young minds with human-centered problem-solving skills, fostering creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
I am currently collaborating with several Bay Area school districts to conduct Design Thinking workshops for high school students.

Stanford GSB LEAD Me2We 2020
In 2019, I was elected as one of the four Directors on the planning committee for the Me2We 2020 conference. Me2We is a self-funded annual event organized by the alumni and students of Stanford GSB Executive Education on Corporate Innovation and Personal Leadership.
This three-day event, hosted at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, features sessions with Stanford GSB faculty, industry experts, and fellow LEADers, fostering insightful discussions and professional growth.
However, due to concerns over COVID-19, the on-campus event was canceled. In response, we quickly pivoted and successfully hosted a virtual conference in March 2020. The online event brought together 200 participants from 40 countries, including Brazil, Ghana, India, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, and the U.S. – a testament to the power of adaptability and global collaboration. This experience was a valuable lesson in crisis management.

Inneract Project

Over the past few years, I have been actively involved with Inneract Project (IP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented youth through design education and connecting them to opportunities that explore design as a career and life skill.
Inneract Project primarily serves middle and high school students who identify as Black, Latinx, and/or from low-income backgrounds. As a professionally-supported organization, IP provides a structured pathway of free design classes and initiatives, introducing youth to the field of design and helping them channel their creativity into viable career opportunities.
I volunteer to lead Learning Labs, a one-day educational event that features short lectures by design professionals, hands-on workshops, and guided tours of design studios and museums. These events are designed for students, parents, and the broader community, providing an interactive and engaging experience that explores the many facets of the design industry.
Jury Member at Design Schools
I am frequently invited to serve as a design jury member at leading design schools in the Bay Area. I enjoy engaging with the next generation of designers, providing mentorship, feedback, and guidance to help them refine their skills and grow in their design journey.
